Rs3 colours

tango blue is too flat and light for me and is just an ordinary bog standard paint ie not pearl, metallic etc. I think mica or ara blue will suit the new rs3 well. Ara blue is what i have on my current rs3 and i still love the colour - thought thats as light as id want any colour- turbo blue is way too bright. The green is interesting - stands out, look nice and hideous / garish at the same time - defo a marmite colour - hates it when i first saw it - now some days i love it, some days i hate it, weird! I wouldnt be brave enough to spec itI really didn’t like it with the Turbo Blue with the silver and black accents but I think the red somehow ties it together much better. Not sure why, just works better for me.

Platinum grey might look ok but for me will have the lines too much, same with any darker colour esp black.
Went and saw a kemora grey hatch in person yesterday.
The mrs commented:
“have they finished painting it?”
And
“that better not be how yours is going to look”.
That kinda summed it up nicely for me too.
There was a turbo blue rs5 and I must admit that looked pretty good in person which surprised me.
The mythos black r8 was the best there though

Turbo blue aint photogenic it looks good on the 8Y and even better on the A5 not on a TT though and definitely not on the A4/Q3/Q5Went and saw a kemora grey hatch in person yesterday.

I couldn't go turbo blue twice well thrice as Audi copied Voodoo...100% confident with Riviera as the RS3 has a lot black exterior trim which will break up the colour something you'll not notice on vader spec black paint does shrink the size of the saloon to my eyes

I’m not a fan of kemora - it’s neither grey or blue, just something in between.
Not one of Audi’s best attempts at a new colour.
They would have been better re-introducing some fan favourites like sepang blue / misano red / floret silver ... that would have gone down great with buyers.
100% agree. Do like a bit of sepang… and floret… with the black elements I think I may have gone floret!!!
Yeah it is a shame with mythos that all the black accent bits will be lost. I think the vorsprung wheels will work better with mythos though.
For what it’s worth I think kemora is better than nardo but the car I saw was one of the Frankenstein spec cars so had the silver bits on it too. With just the black bits it probably would have been a good deal better.

Those brakes? Er no mine will be red callipers.
I thought we were getting a sunroof? Er yep it hasn’t got one but mine will.
I don’t like those silver bits. Mine won’t have those.
I thought we had leather? Yes, mine will but that’s the no cost option seats.
I like the steering wheel. Mine won’t be flat bottomed.
I thought it was going to be black? Yep it will be…

My inferior half doesn't give a monkeys....about cars a girly girly type of female l asked her opinion on paint colour she said "do what want"...l said "OK...no problem" l get a free reign on most things....I took her there to take a look at what I was getting but she called me on nearly all the details.

****** off that car aint been machine or even hand polished since day 1 mate ....changed it to saloon and the swap could be goer lol
Looked far better on the RS6 I looked at.

Bit lower than I’d like and with wheels that are a bit large for my liking, but I still appreciate looking at it. I think it’s well done though and really like those wheel designs. A little higher on those coil overs and with the 19” versions of the wheels and I’d be sold.
