collecting late afternoon but very excited to see it & drive it.
Good news Vorsprungs are being built, sadly not for any on ASN, to my knowledge.
let's hope they go to owners who are going to keep them & enjoy them, rather than yet more cars to be flipped or sat on forecourts not going anywhere.

I’ve had an email to say that there is a saloon in Hereford Audi at the moment. It’s their demonstrator. I test drove their SB before placing the order but wanted to see a saloon as I’m still on the fence regarding practicality but much prefer the look of the saloon. I’ll pop down this weekend and take some pictures If anyone wants to see them.

My broker has just let me know that my unconfirmed build week is 36. That'll be over 12 months from order to delivery if it ends up being correct!

Not getting any better is it ?So your educated guess for September was almost correct...but it does seem brokers and leasing companies do have longer lead times they do with the A3 section anyways

I can't take too much credit, it was the delivery date that I was quoted when I went to order. Haha.
I wonder if broker orders are pushed down the list a little bit or they get a few together and do a bulk order to get a better deal or something? I don't really know but I'm hoping it doesn't end up being later than that at least.
Are the delays for new vehicles across the board, or are these heightened with the RS3 orders?
I genuinely don’t know I’m afraid.
For comparison though, when we were maybe looking at getting a Skoda Enyaq or VW ID.4 they both quoted March delivery if we ordered in October last year.
Based on that small amount of info it would look like the RS3’s are disproportionately affected, but I can’t say for sure.

When we looked at the EV6 Kia dealer quoted March for delivery if ordered now.

Definitely sounds like the RS3 is worse for whatever reason. I wonder if the uptake was generally larger than expected and that’s compounded the problem.

Its interesting, as my son's dealership is full of used cars!!!! He says its a touch worst with Audi in general, and more so with the RS3. Ho hum, we sit tight and at least can get any mods bought in readiness!!!! LOL
