So have you and the other buyer got the wrong ones then?
The numbers that @Mastachaz gave were for Kyalami Green LHD, and these have now been corrected in his last post. The Part Numbers for the 2 sets of Tango Red vents I purchased were provided by TPS, and on a RHD RS3 8Y provided registration number :yahoo:

They got Plate number for UK car with red vents? :D

If anyone is looking to upgrade to these here are the TSBs showing how to remove the side vents and the long passengers vent
I'm not sure if the Audi method is similar but just a heads up/word of warning. When I had my A Class Merc it had to go in for head unit issues which required vent removal.

Due to the natural recoil of the body the technician managed to 'place' the hook tool straight through the sat nav/infotainment screen as the force required to pop the vent was huge.

Hopefully Audi vent unclipping is easier but just thought I'd share my story as I'd hate to see a load of dashboards with hook tools stuck in them.

Thanks Steve. I know that @Mastachaz is looking to have a go, and i'm just seeing if my son can get the TSB for the ambient removal. I will get mine done by the techs when the PDI gets done!!! Perks of son working for Audi:thumbs up:

If any of you guys have time, you should make a video on how to change the vents as I imagine this will be a very popular interior mod.

I agree that it looks good. I would make a video if I had a car and the vents but I don't :p

However, the relative ease at which this appears to have been done means it will be a definite mod I will be making hopefully later this year if the car ever turns up... as well as having the wheel most likely retrimmed with a matching 12'o clock stripe.

I might be able to make it up to you...
RS e-Tron GT Vorsprung, with Adaptive Crusie Assist and Emergency Assist, comes with this:

Not sure about buttons etc. or if it's even compatible but might be worth investigating...
Strange how you guys don't get the Option pack available. Both Red/Green available here in Australia. I've gone with the Red pack on my 8Y RS3 Sedan. We don't get the option for a flat bottom steering wheel due to the the full assist package being standard. I'm keen to see if I can swap the round alcantara wheel that will come with my car over to the rs6/rs7 flat bottom that does work in those models with the assist package. https://www.ebay.com/itm/274583562860

Looks good! If you get two minutes, I'd really appreciate a picture of it with the ambient light turned right down/off to simulate what it might look like with the carbon dash if that's alright? I have a feeling they might look a little out of place without the additional red stripe is my worry.

It would be great if you could show just how and where to pry at the various trim pieces to change the vents, although I can build engines/gearboxes/restore motorcycles etc, me and plastic trim just dont get along too well and it usually ends up in tears :)

That would be interesting to see if this would work considering it does have the assist package like you say. I don’t really like the shape of the air bag on that one but the FB makes it a all round better wheel

Think they look alright actually, there’s lots of red text and accents on the screens that tie them in more than I thought. Might need to invest in a set when my car is closer to arriving.

ties in well with the hazard warning light icon ;)

Once my upgraded steering wheel arrives with red stitching, red 12 o clock leather ring it will tie in further with the red vents. Same as picture, and have also gone for TTRS buttons, as these are plug and play
