I'm glad you got some use from the Bilsteins and H&R springs chap.Hi Folks, not been around much lately but I have been doing stuff to the Old Jalopy - spent the last few weekends fitting the Bilstein/H&K suspension I got from Rob (CHEERS Rob!! ) & also freshening up my front Calipers as well as replacing the rear ones.
Original Front coilover strut (which I only fitted in 2018)

Old N New struts - note the broken rear spring lying alongside them (both were broken in exactly the same place)

Bilstein/H&K strut assembled with new standard upper Arms (mounted at correct angle - the adjustable ones consistently destroyed their outer ball joints as the boots kept getting split - don't know why)

And that concludes my latest shenanigans..........
Except....... I have sold my B6 Audi Avant - it will be put back on the road by the new owner Yay!
Very very nice! Will look great once fitted Are you going to swap the silver border for the gloss black one on your current grille to keep with the black optics theme?
Do you have a RS4 grill Mike?stick a number plate on it, see what you think.
Personally, I like it, but then I would
Slap the plate on and it's good to go in my OPView attachment 255483
Fitted
Not sure what to make of it. Never saw one on a silver car before. Not many Silver RS4's about and I've never saw a single RS4 in Silver with Black Optics
Looks almost as if something is missing.
Is it the badge?
or am I just too used to seeing 'my old' car and this will take some getting used to. Unsure!
looks super sparkly clean
Sorry to hear that Rob, hope you're doing ok mate. Sounds like you need a project to dive into, always helps me when I get like thatlooks super sparkly clean
I think you need to drive over and do mine next, the old bus is looking a bit sad at present, I've sort of lost interest in it lately, pretty well lost interest in everything to be honest.
Did you change your seats Fully? Since I always thought the leather factory fitted cars would have a leather armrest cover too. Where did you get it? I bought a new OEM grey cloth one since my cloth one was a bit shiny - it turned out to be wrong size. In the end I used a magic eraser on the old one, like I did on the steering wheel and gearstick, and it worked mostly - the shiny look has gone.
I've been unwell for the last couple of weeks and just don't have any interest in anything at the moment.Sorry to hear that Rob, hope you're doing ok mate. Sounds like you need a project to dive into, always helps me when I get like that

Careful, there are two type.
One is curved at the front, the other is flat
Easy to order one thinking they all fit, but they're not interchangeable

I love they way those OZ Superturismo's lookDecided to spend an hour cleaning up the old bus, it rarely gets filthy so time to restore some sort of order to it and see some shiny paintwork again.
