I ad my s3 mapped at ecotune last year and Stan is a top guy, his advice and knowledge is second to none. His maps are like said above from APR. I have to say I like how they run your car on the dyno before and after the software is added. It' good just to see how the car is performing before...
A quick photo of my 3 and 1/2 year old glacier white saloon that I've owned from new after a quick wash on a rare sunny day in Scotland earlier in the week!
Stage 1 390bhp 415ft/lbs
RS6 8pots with 365 waveys and EBC redstuff pads.
Maybe soon to be a different colour.....
Sent from my SM-G935F...
Mine has the VW racing intake with inlet elbow and turbo elbow, IKH spark plugs and APR DSG software.
Still toying with idea of an exhaust and intercooler but don't want the car to obnoxiously loud. I like it the way it is.....subtle on normal driving then sounding better when giving it a bit
Hi mate, just read this. Your cars looking good. Bit of money been spent too!
I've had my saloon mapped with APR software in Glasgow. They ran the car on rollers before and after the map and additional mods. It ran 391bhp with 416lbs of torque.
Have you had your software loaded with no dyno run...
Does anyone know where the best place to get 31513/3C pads from? I'm upgrading my s3 brakes to rs3 caliper and read all the good things about these pads on this thread.
Previously some of you guys where saying front and backs would cots about £160ish. I can only find fronts for £195. Am I...
Yep, they ran it 3 times after the map was loaded. The first run made 386bhp, then 391bhp and I think the last was 388bhp, can't remember the exact torque figures of the other 2 runs. The printouts are in the post as I forgot to take them when I left the garage.
It doesn't worry me anyway Hendy, I'm aware of what could go wrong now the car is mapped and if anything did then I'll just have to deal with it. I certainly won't be driving it like a mad man possessed everytime I'm in it.
So it looks like I need the ones that you have both pictured above then. I mean the ones on eBay don't look too bad but I was wanting them to look as OEM as possible.
I do know I need them about 71-72mm in width as I've measured what's on them.
Tom how much would you be to knock these up? If...
