I had this problem. It kept jumping to 'Ackrite' by Dr Dre on my Apple Music every time I tried using Spotify. I found that opening Apple Music, then swiping to close the app, and pressing play on Spotify would work. I didn't try skipping songs though, so I'll check that tomorrow. It's that...
