In my experience, you'll get a refund / good will gesture if they can't fulfil an option which was available when you ordered the car. They've taken this off the configurator for the Q3 as well, but no word from my dealer yet. I have a confirmed BW (19) so hopefully that's the order locked...

I got the email on the 1st March, my order went in on 8th Feb. I've begrudgingly decided to suck it up since it's just the rear dynamics. I don't know what I'd do on an RSQ3 order though, that's a much bigger loss.

I received this from my dealer (Audi UK) re: the rear lights: Q3 and Q3 Sportback (Sport, S line and Black Edition) LED headlights with LED daytime running lights and dynamic rear indicator (PX2) currently standard equipment, will be replaced with LED headlights with LED daytime running lights...

I think I've read it's £600 if you're losing the matrix lights, my order will just be affected by the dynamic rear indicators. Still, a bitter one to swallow after the order is in, and I'm concerned this won't be the end of it if the shortages continue. There were already compromises in my Q3...

Oh forgot to add, having come from an A1 myself I can definitely recommend it. Feels like a big upgrade quality wise, and the car doesn't feel much bigger to drive.

I've got this engine in mine, picked up at the start of March. I haven't experienced it, and I've been doing a lot of short trips from cold. Not many miles on yet though

Audi price matched an ALA quote for me on gap insurance - I got it for around half price. Worth asking!

Picked up my new A3 on Saturday and loving it. However there is one thing I miss which my A1 had... a right side footrest for when you're using cruise control! It'd be quite handy for hold assist too now :grin:

This happens with my new A1 too, didn't happen on my pre-facelift model. Irritating I agree, I've gotten used to it now though. Still, seems like something which should be user configurable.

As has been mentioned, there are plenty around Aberdeen. I feel like I see more than regular A3s, but that could be just because they catch the eye a little more. I remember seeing a Sepang late last year on Crown Street which had had a run in with a lorry, looked like a write off. 65 plate too...

I also have a 65 plate S-Line 1.4 150 (from Aberdeen Audi too!) which doesn't beep. My old 2011 A1 didn't beep with that warning either, to my recollection, although that one did have a habit of beeping every now and then for no apparent reason.

Aberdeen Audi unveiled theirs last night. The event was for the new showroom, but they took the opportunity to show the A4 too!
