This weekend i fitted the H&R 40mm springs, and gave the car a good going over with the DA with a 3 stage cut and polish, using meguires 105 & 205, it took me well over 25hrs fitting the springs and detailing it but I'm over the moon with the results, never realised how much metallic was buried...
Hmm that could be something but i was under the assumption the S4 and the S5 3.0 TFSI are pretty much the same car just in a different body, it may refer to the 8T2 so people do not get confused with the V8, your guess is as good as mine,
i knew the car had something done but i assumed it was some sort of generic map that any local garage does or a bluefin ect,
it is attached to the actual ecu behind the scuttle, i only found it by chance when changing the springs and it stood out like a sore thumb heres a couple of pictures...
thats what it looks like, I'm thinking its a piggy back ecu, but €4000 and it only produced 30bhp when they claim it could make as much as ~430, i think the previous owner had the wool pulled over his eyes
time to get it down to MRC i think and get it one properly
Replaced the springs on the S4 this weekend, when I took the scuttle off I found a ABT wiring harness going back into the ecu ?
Is this normal? I know my car has been fettled with in a past life as it produces a little more power and no 155 limiter
It looks just like this...
Great looking Avant
Stanley is awesome, looks like he approves of his new ride, love to see more pictures of him
we went for an avant to fit our new puppy in, albeit a 6 stone one
I'm seriously considering getting a English Bulldog as friend for troy, as there is a bloke who breeds them...
you asked for peoples opinions and experiences and you shoot them down,
when 2 weeks ago you where non the wiser yourself,
you have been arrogant, ignorant and ridiculously pedantic to people who have give there thoughts on the matter (which you specifically asked for), no one really has...
I run my RS Clio on momo (Tesco Momentum 99) it was mapped on that, it makes the best power, car runs the best and is the most economical on it
Tried it in the S4 and it seemed to just drink it, but it did make 361bhp standard on fairly accurate rollers, but i will be getting it mapped on 99 to...
would this fit a B8.5 with some minor modification ? was just about to purchase one but need to make sure first
**EDIT** just looked into it my self and no it won't due to the shape of the B8.5 Corners
Left it here for others reference
