They already have done. And it bothered me very much. But the car was recovered, repaired and is back in my life now albeit with much improved home security. What I was trying to say was, I would rather accept the risk of owning a car I wanted that's considered to be more desirable to thieves...

According to that article it's only one in a hundred that's stolen. Shame it was mine. Any 'nice' car is going to be of interest to thieves. So you either have one and take security seriously or you have a car that's of little interest to them, which will also be of little interest to you.

Same. Left foot lightly on brake, release & mash accelerator. Will try it again in sport mode with tickover revs above 1000, sure it will help.

It was in individual with engine set to dynamic, but as the car had been turned off and on again, the 1100(?)rpm tickover had reverted to sub 1k revs, so I suppose the same as comfort.

Feel and have experienced your pain. It took about 6 weeks for new locks & keys to come in once ordered for mine.

Drove the ****** thing again for the first time in 4 months since it was stolen & subsequently found & repaired. Not a day too soon, I was beginning to bond with the Peugeot 1.6 diesel courtesy car.
