I had the same issue and it was sorted out by changing the stabilizer bar. My opinion is to see a different workshop for their opinion. I had a friend who was told also it's the stabilizer bar but later someone else told him that it was engine mounting blocks.

Hello, I have 2015 A3 with 7.5jx17 rims. Original tires installed is 225/45 17 and I was looking online and found that the 7.5 in wheels can take up to 235 width so I want to ask if anyone has tried it or not.

Did you open the link. It shows that i need to completely remove the filter box. Is it held by any screws or something to the engine itself or just by these hose clips i found below image which shows something holding the box to the engine. (items 3 & 4)...
