i currently have 235/40/18 on my a4 avant and desperatly need to change the 2 front tyres (1 puncture and 1 with sidewall damage) So ive been given 2 virtually brand new 225/40/18 tyres for free. Would these still fit or are the to narrow? Info on wheel is 8j x 18H2 ET45 Thanks

my car is an 05 A4 avant s line which doesnt have the dis in the centre of the instrument cluster and only has the standard wiper stalk (no buttons on end of it) Will fitting a dis wiper stalk enable me to have the display give me more info than just the range as it does now.

Hi again. Just wanted to update this thread. Car finally gave up and lost all power with loads of white smoke and iratic revving. Took it into my vw dealership workshop (where i work) and was diagnosed that the egr valve was ******! £130 later and a new egr valve fitted and all is as good as...
