    Unbelievable.....

Hi, regarding warrenties I would say be guided by your gut feeling as to how reliable your car has been. Like many here I have had experience of third party car warrenties and IMO they are not worth the paper they are printed on. Shortly after buying my A4 (just under 3 years old at the...

    190 S-line multitronic questions

Hi Wolfsburger, thanks for the reply. In answer to your question, the ATF needs to be changed on mileage, not age, so this will not be an issue for you. Interesting post about the Passat. Unfortunately my Audi has been far from reliable, and consequently I have driven a number of alternative...

    190 S-line multitronic questions

Hi, I have an A4 2.0 FSI with a multitronic gearbox, so I cannot comment on the A4 190 S-line. However, I have had issues with my multitronic box and can give you the benefit of my experience. You don't mention the mileage on the A4 but the automatic transmission fluid in the multitronic...

I resigned - tell it like it is?

I would advise against any sort of dialogue along these lines. I also work in IT and I also made the move to contracting a few year's back (and a few years later became an employee again, and may be contracting again in the future) As a contractor you will trade on your skills but you will...

Any Feedback on A4 2.0 FSI Sport?

Back on topic, I have an 03 2.0 FSI saloon SE (and before we go off on a tangent again, yes, mine does have an armrest and DIS). So I can't comment on the sport version, only about the 2.0 FSI generally. Really just echoing what has been said here. You're not gonna set the world alight...

    Hi - Warranty Question

Hi, if it was an Audi Approved Warrenty, I've heard talk of a 'grace period' after expiry whereby you may be still allowed to renew it. Could be worth giving them a call to see. Audi extended warrenties aren't cheap though so it's up to you if you think it's worth it. Having said that...

    Vibration ( massage chair)

I had a similar problem with my 2.0FSI multitronic, had the wheels balanced, four wheel tracking done and steering geometry checked by an Audi dealer. Still had the vibration. So had it all done again by an independent specialist as I was convinced something was out of true. Still no...

MPG & London Driving No Difference

Intesting post this. I always appreciated that town / slow traffic driving would hit fuel consumption but quite shocked at how evenly it slaughters MPG across what is quite a wide range of engine technologies. I guess the new models that some manufacturers are starting to bring out that...

    DIS Warning on startup! BRAKES

Mine did it once then was ok for about 10 days before then coming on permanently. Checked the brake fluid, all ok, accepted the enevitable and got the front pads replaced.

    Alfa 156 diesel

I can't answer your question but I've always had a soft spot for Alfas and occasionally lurk on www.alfaowner.com. They seem a freindly bunch, and just as passionate about thier cars as us Audi mob so it might be a good idea to put your question on one of their forums.

    A4 1.8 Heaters

I have an 03 plate and mine do light up red. I'm sure I read on another post some time ago that this feature was made standard at around the 03 plate time.

    Please advise me! Female!

Hi, the automatic transmission fluid in the multitronic gearbox should have been changed at 40,000 miles. Try and establish if this was done. If it hasn't then there are two issues; 1) it needs to be done and is such a specialist job it, almost by default, has to be done by an Audi dealer...
