Hi recently had a new balance shaft and turbo fitted. Around a month later the oil pump has gone. Should this happen or has it been fitted wrong

Hi wondering if anyone could help. I came back on a long journey in my car, ran absolutely fine .picked my dog up and car cut out. Try to start and it judders coughs and splutters then cuts out again. Any help would be appreciated. Was thinking diesel blockage or imoberliser. Please help.

It is the bre engine does this make a big price difference and need more parts

So the chain and cogs should be fine. Sorry about all the questions I bet I'm becoming a pain.

OK thankyou. I was thinking I would need a whole oil pump . Don't suppose you know anywhere around the Sheffield area that do this work . You have been really helpful thanks very much

Do I just need the parts mentioned in the link or the whole pump .

Oh dear . Doesn't sound good. Maybe worth selling the car as spares or repair . It's a shame as been a cracking car but maybe not worth spending over a grand to get it fixed .

There is no code . Sorry to sound daft but what is BRE . Is it an expensive fix if oil pump has gone . Wasn't sure if it may be pressure sensor and just need fresh oil with a clean out .

Hi guys I'm new on here and wondered if you could help. I have a 2007 a6 tdi avant 140. I was driving on the motorway when red warning came on saying oil pressure low .pulled straight over and it went off. When revs reached 2k it came back on so got it towed home . It has plenty of oil and runs...
