How did you get on with this in the end or did covid screw your plans up?
My car is booked in tomorrow for a service and they are going to look at this for me as well. It's happened 2-3 times since new in March 2018, but hasn't happened for a while now.
I've also found very little difference between dynamic and eco. If you are heavy footed then eco will smooth the throttle response out more, but the same can be achieved in dynamic by just not planting your foot. I never use eco - for a long run I'll always use the individual mode to set the...
My understanding is that like you say, on higher RON fuel the engine management in the S3 will advance the timing. I usually use Momentum and can definitely feel the difference if I'm ever forced to use 95. Also find it to return more MPG which is a small bonus.
I have a pretty big upper back/shoulders - specced the SS seats especially as they certainly feel a lot more supportive than the regular seats I tried for me. That said in terms of lower back bolsters the normal ones felt just as supportive.
If its a high performance tyre then I'll go to the tread limit/wear indicator:

I'd recommend getting it done @allanmb, there are plenty of posts on here about the condition of peoples filters when they have had it done/done it. It also depends on the way you drive. Here is just one of the threads:

Haldex service is at 3 years. Would recommend specifically asking them to clean the gauze on the haldex filter which is something they don't usually do as part of the service. At 3 years old it will probably have a fair amount of gunk on it, why they don't clean it is beyond me.
First brake...
I believe they are RS6 wheels that @Flying Scotsman has, not the standard s3 saloon wheels. S3 saloon afaik are 8Jx19 ET49. I'm also interested to know if 245/35/19 would be alright on the standard s3 rims.
I am 15 months and 11.5k miles into ownership. Based on the amount of blocked/very dirty filters I have seen on cars with as low as 10k miles on them, I am planning to have the haldex oil changed and filter cleaned after 18 months at an independent. Also seems to be suggested that its a case of...
When this happens, rightly or wrongly and traffic permitting, I tend to coast and then pull in behind whatever I am currently next to so they can get past. I have absolutely no problem getting out the way for someone who wants to give me the chance to do so!
