Yes I am registered,and also looked at the online manual on myAudi.com. The online manual is also dated 05 2017 which is the same as my owners manual. Neither provide specific recommendation on oil required but just mention a range of oils and refer the owner to Audi workshop (pages 346 - 347)...

Thanks. It’s very interesting as my 420 page A4 owners manual does not include any such page. Sorry to be a pain but can tell me what date the back cover page has on your owners manual. My A4 owners manual is dated 05 2017 (English version) with a number 8w001272AF below.

Sorry forgot to add a further question as to why you think At 5K miles per annum I should be locked in to fixed servicing. Why 19k for Variable and 9k for Fixed servicing if the driving style (motorways etc only) is the same. I just don’t understand the logic.
