Try what steve said. Knock it in to reverse, set the position to see the curb, Then drive around the street and see if it will go to normal position. If it does then try reverse. When mine returned to normal position it would sometimes go up to high. Not sure what gives it the signal to say what...

Does the mirror adjust manually?

When my car is under load there is a weird noise coming from the front drivers side. Its not a wheel bearing because they have just been replaced and if i knock it in to N the noise disappears. Garage isn’t 100% on what it is either. Anyone have any idea?
