Had this issue around 6 months ago. Sent car back to dealer and they found the fault to be coming from the rear right lower arm bushing. Had both left and right side changed under warranty. Mine is a 2019 45 TFSI.

Not all the cars will have problems with rattling fitments. You could be one of the lucky ones with a car without any issues. But the A6 is a love car and I hope you enjoy it!

I've had all the rattles in the cabin fixed. Car is like new now. I'm satisfied with the service provided by the authorised dealer.

I'll be sending my car to the workshop next month. The mechanics discovered the rattling sound from the air vent hoses behind the dash and have ordered the parts from Germany. I'll update you guys once the parts have been changed. Fingers crossed!

Hi Simon. The rattling seems to come from the speaker panels in the dash and the silver trim surrounding the upper MMI screen. I'm waiting for the parts to arrive from Germany before sending the car to the workshop. It's a minor niggle in an otherwise lovely car!

You have my sympathy, The Saints. I had the C7 for 6 years before the current car and never had problems with rattles and squeaks from the cabin. But this could be due to the more extensive use of plastics in the C8's cabin.
