As far as I heard, 8 valve 1.9tdi PD engines last for a long time without problems. I just wanted to hear some people opinions about what safe power I could aim when I decide to get a proper dyno tune if I decide to do it.
Hello everyone.
What could be a good safe power to go to on 1.9Tdi bkc engine with stock parts (2004/12 3 door model without dpf) ?
Also what is the weak point I should look out for (clutch, turbo, etc.)?
I snapped the housing on purpose, so I could remove the damned screw. The new housing had new screw included, so they are kind of disposable items i guess.
So today I was at the service to get my wheels aligned on my 2 door A3 and they said that front negative camber couldn't be reduced because of the lowering springs. Is there a cheaper option than camber plates to help align the camber at the front (it starts at 150Euro just for the plates...
I bought complete cage with the buttons from local scrapyard, so I don't have the part numbers. It would have been good if I had taken photos of the numbers for reference, but did not thought of it at the time.
Looked around, and it seems like you are correct.

this one is from 2009 and it is has old connectors, you would need...
The one with old separate connectors just plugs in and works, you don't need to wire anything, that is less of over complicating than wiring it yourself. When I bought my 2 din cage, it came with buttons with separate connectors, and they just work.
It will work, just remember which connector is which, because I plugged in hazards to esp and esp to hazards (it worked, just the buttons were swapped)
Whats the point of 3 blank buttons? When I did my 2 din conversion, I had a card holder with my cage instead of blanks.
Also, is there an option to change card holder to a cup holder, because center console has 1 proper cupholder, and if I have a passenger, they get to keep their drink in their...
In my case we diagnosed it by looking sensor readings using VCDS and driving around while checking sensor readings (if there are no results then sensor or wiring are bad, but in my case it was bad results for rear passenger wheel (lhd)), then took off the wheel bearing and checked if the ring...
I had to change my wheel speed sensor and magnetic ring on wheel bearing this spring (also rear right side) on my 2004 3 door. In my case small corrosion caused the gap between sensor and ring shorten enough for them to rub to each other.
If this happens again I would advice to check if the ring...
