Amazing how they get the basics wrong some dealers,ive heard this before,why not just follow the oil use guidlines they produced for there own engines its not hard.

I wouldnt be to concerned mate at that mileage.

My S3 after detail,paint correction and ceramic coat.

Ive just paid £550 including vat,audi indy specialist for full major service on my s3. Including all air,oil,pollen filters,brake fluid change, haldex oil change and pump removal to clean screen,spark plugs,and full inspection of car with audi service updated in system just to see the price...

When it happened to me id say yes mate.

Sounds Familiar I just bought the same car last week mate 2018 s3 black edition, ive had 2 s3,s before but manual, this is auto dsg like yours and had to drive car the day i got it to airport to go to work away only being in car briefly that day the exact same thing happened and ive been at...

Nothing will happen mate only long term use of a completely different type of non engine oil would cause damage.

Im the same with my cars mate,there is no harm over servicing a car yearly than missing services for the sake of saving a few £. Youl never do it any harm.I dont get people spending 10 thousands on a car and not getting it serviced correctly.

Yes mate but Last one was 38k nearly 2 years ago, but i suspect that's why it was traded in, guessed a major service would be due, I was surprised that's what they said earlier, mech minded myself i would've expected spark plugs and other bits to be done at that mileage especially in that car...

More to the point does anyone have any sort of service schedual for the year and model.2018 s3 Just dont know what should be due at service i called audi and there saying just oil change,which is hard to believe after another nearly 2 years and 20k miles taking it to 50k.

25k mate which seems the going rate for these now, i traded a a4 against it and got more than webuyanycar where offering by quite a bit.
