Managed to fix it so if anyone has this issue in the future High beam assist was enabled although the equipment for it wasn’t fitted in the vehicle but at the same time the momentary high beam switch was disabled, the way to fix it is to enable momentary high beam switch, then turn your lights...

Wasn't coded in, back to the drawing board. Its such a weird one, no error codes or anything.

08, yes it has cruise control and it stays forward so its like they've decoded the high beam feature.

Recently purchased an A4 that needs work as a project, I've another post up regarding an issue with its aircon, but this one is a bit strange. The previous owner has clearly messed around with OBDEleven or something like that trying to add US lights and has screwed up the coding of the lights...
