    TT RS Buying Advice

I've had my TTRS manual for the past year. BOUGHT THE CAR WITH 69,000 miles in the clock. Now covered 18,000 this year mainly driving to work at 60mph although some have a been a spirited road trip to Europe / Alps with 2000 miles in a week. Ive had to buy M pilot sport tyres for it, and a...

I picked mine up last week and oil level was just under half, I guess if you think of it like a dip stick shouldn't be anything to worry about. Mines used a little oil over the first 500 miles but I'm guessing that's normal but my engine also sounded better and felt almost tighter or smoother :)

Got my car back today, bit of a **** up it seems around the collection so when I arrived only the sales guys in, the car hadn't been cleaned and no info around work done etc. Will call them back Monday to talk to the service department as I would expect a service stamp or something in the...

Mine went in today for engine rebuild no questions asked after it failed the 2nd oil test, brand new A4 TDI courtesy car for 2 weeks. Not bad for a privately bought car now with 131,000 miles on the clock. Audi seem to have finally got their act together dealing with this issue once and for all !

Car has just been back into Audi Llandudno Junction today & failed the 2nd oil consumption test after the first test returned 1ltr use after 480 miles, to be fair I haven't even to say a word and the car has already been booked in for 2 weeks time for 10 days with cover car of my choice to have...

Heres the rev footage. You can hear him say.. "Whoo ******* the exhaust black as f*%k on this one.. you can see it going down the f%*king orme" Then 30 seconds later comments on how "jet fu%ing black" it is again to a colleague whilst revving it hard from cold for the best part of 2 min...

Will take it back when it fails the oil test and see what happens with more footage. Looks like they where reving it to warm the engine which wouldn't seem right to me. Surely they should let it come to temp naturally?

My car has gone in for its first oil consumption test, was interesting watching my dash cam footage of them in the workshop (obviously didn't click it was on recording with the ignition). At one point they are revving the car hard for about 2 min from cold and laughing and joking how much...

Is it Audi Customer Services who are making the call/decision around repair and cost then based on the garages recommendation and not the garage itself?

My A4 2009 2.0 tfsi is booked in for a free oil consumption test at my local Audi dealership (Llandudno Junction), North Wales. The car currently uses about 1ltr for every 500 miles, i took it to Audi when i first bought the car for a service and for them to look into the oil usage problem to...

    Low oil pressure warning?

Just to update, had the pressure sensor changed... Same problem, took the sump off to check the pickup pipe, engine clean as a whistle as was the pipe, changed the oil and new filter and problem solved!! Apparently oil coming out was obviously dark but seemed a lot thicker than the oil going...
