2005 A6 2.0TDi, fuel guage suddenly not working (1/2 tank full), low fuel warning now constantly on. Is this a common problem, any quick fixes without visiting dealer? :think:

Had the exact same problem about 2 months ago, ended up at Paisly VW centre, £40 to clear faults and a full diagnostic. Still didnt clear the bulb problem though, new brake light switch and replacement of original bulbs required. Aroung £65 the lot.

Had a recent similar problem, tracked down to a hole in the intercooler, are you getting smoke in the exhaust when misfiring? New intercoller £330 fitted, problem solved.

Cheers CB, been off all night and still not cleared, I'm more worried at getting the lights working again, is it as simple as new bulbs?

Help please, bought a set of LED bulbs from ebay, went to fit them and they did not work, fitted the originals and now they don't work, DIS error now showing, and cannot find a specific fuse. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Hi, help please, brake lights have started coming on whilst the car is parked, will only go off when engine is started and brake pedal depressed (like me), fed up with nieghbours calling to tell me the lights are on. May be linked to the very cold temps, but not sure, anyone else had this...

Eventually got round to it, but the lighter fuses are not listed in the dash fuses, there is a note that there are additional fuses in the E-box and the Auxiliary relay bracket, any ideas where they are?
