    Booked in for Remap!

Rusty cracked home made egr blanking plate could have been the cause all a long..lol Car up and runnig again fine apart from burning of the old oil on the exhaust (I think I upset all of the other companies on the ind estate..ooops) Once the car is running 100% with its current harware then...

I cannot believe how hard it is to find a reliable tuner. GGGRRRRR When is it my turn?? LOL All I do day in day out is 1.8T me7.5 and M.3.8.. Just finished a Golf AGU T304e at 404bhp 338lbft on stock ecu and VR6 housing. These ecu dont take 5 mins to custom map, its a good days work...

    remaps and normal unleaded petrol

On a well remapped BAM spec1 running a good ignition map with pull of around 4-5CF on V-power the difference between happy shopper fuel and V-power will be night and day. And mapping for V-power I can bring another map into play AIT v RPM ignition correction at low intake temp I can produce...

    Booked in for Remap!

Hello Joe, Looking good so far m8, engine turning over fine, rod lenghts seem bang on, just the seals in the turbo gave up and filled the boost pipes and cylinders with oil and locked the engine. There is no way of knowing when turbo seals are going to fail, it could be a week before a remap...

    remaps and normal unleaded petrol

Hello, As regards to 95 - 98 fuel on a spec1 ko4 mapped car, I am going by what I see, even stock cars will get huge timing pull when running 95 and raised egts. Inside these me7.5 ecus there are two boost/load related tables one for running low CF and one for when the ecu continues to see...

I have done this mistake a few time on my customers cars over the last 5 years, with stage 1 mapping there is no need to touch the MAF limiter map, but as soon as a boosted bigger turbo is fitted it can trigger it, with my customer its in 4 gear WOT around 70-80mph. But I cannot be 100% sure...

Logs look fine imo, not working the turbo too hard as you have load of head room on the n75% duty cycle, fuel is rich not lean, requested boost in being matched near enough across the whole band part from the top end which could do with a fine tweak on the N75 map. Can you feel the car dump...

The ecu need a base line of lambda 1 this then works from there using reading from maf and adaption constants. Looking at the logs below it clamps at 0.92v which is telling me its running easy lambda 0f 0.80 - 0.75 if not lower.

Back to back with wideband or emulating with my Innovate system .9v would give an A/F ratio of around 11.0:1 There is a wide window for reading at stoichiometric value .2 - .75. The ideal stoichiometric voltage lwould be around .6v, but once the reading below .2v and above .75v is only a guide...

Just seen your logs, the 007 blocks show a narrow band volts of .9v which is a rough sign of running rich which is is ok as your not at too lean. Can you get a log of request load v actual load v N75 on block 25? along with blocks 002 MAF and the maths behind load mapping 10.500ms will = 19psi...

Do you have any lambda logs? Do you know what happens when the power drops off at 5.5k? IMO it looks like a maf over limit cut which could be from too much air flow being draw in or a over reading duff maf. On the MRC graph you can see the car having issues at 5.5k ? As for thre tuneside...

    best company to get remaped

Realistic peak power on a healthy engine is around 200-210bhp 210-225lbft, its not all about peak numbers its all about the area under the curve ie average power, All of our maps are based around the area under the curve, which mean our map could peak at 200bhp and another tuners car at 230bhp...

    Remap...???? DONE!!!!!

Clutchs dont "wear" due to remap, but if the pressure plate has lost most of its clamping force over 70-80k then there is a good chance it might slip after a remap. If you have a brand new oem clutch unit then there is no reason that the clutch wont last for 80k with the remap on the car. Its...

    Remap...???? DONE!!!!!

LOL there are some tuners making claims and quotes of 200+bhp 320+lbft from just a stage 1 on the 140PDs, I thought my claim was low..
