hi peeps, put my car into dealers today with a whining noise when driving and drones to a stop. on test drive the mech said it sounded like gearbox or diff. has anyone suffered a similar noise? if so what was the cause? hope this is a easy fix....good job its covered under warranty. cheers in...

few of my mates have the st3 and one has rs and are very nice motors but giving a choice i would pick the RS4 aswell.

yeah the standard has issues with torque steer and handling, but quaife lsd and whitline adjustable rarb put end to that...also looked at focus st3 before i bought my audi and got to say i would rather has this than either st or vxr.

yeah your right they are completely different, my astra was 315bhp and had all the bits on....handled great and was suprisingly comfortable, but this is a classy looker with a decent lump under the bonnet and the comfort is better than my sofa..:yes:

no, i went out by myself and after about 1 mile the oil and collant lights came on, went back to dealer and he said no probs, its been standing for a few month...i'll get that sorted.

Hi all newbie here, Just sold my vxr and should be picking up my A4 convertible tomorrow. Its a 2003 1.8T Sport, but during test drive the oil and coolant lights came on? is this anything to be concerned about? The dealer said he would service it and check and fix any probs. Should i keep well...
