I'm wanting to get some new wheels for the motor, its an A4 1.9 tdi sport and was wondering what I could get away with. I don't want to go for 19's as tyre prices would be bonkers so am gona go for 18's. I think I could go as low as a 35mm offset with an 8" wide rim and about a 42mm offset...

I have recently purchased an A4 1.9tdi. I've never owned a diesel before so its all new to me. When normal driving there is a very fine high frequency vibration coming through the accelerator pedal. Is this normal? If not, any ideas? Thanks.
