Ive finally finished the wing today. Basically it went in this order... :Remove Headlights. :Remove front Bumper. :Remove Arch Liner. :Remove Side Skirt. :Remove Wing Bolts in engine bay :Remove Wing bolts from inside door :Remove Wing Bolts form inside wheel arch. Then put everything back on...

Avoid WD40 Like the plague, it strips out any remaining grease but is easily washed out!! Use a can od spray copper grease. I sprayed mine last year and they havent slowed since. No need to remove anything, sand anything Break anything!!

Almost definately the Altenator Free Wheel pulley!! Just had mine replaced. Did you by chance happen to have your cam belt done at a private garage rather than Audi? As the freewheel pulley is replaced during this service by audi. Independents tend to miss it. Think mine cost me about 86 quid...

Thanks for the advice, it seems that the normal headlights work but only when i push the full beam lever on, but nothing at all when i take it off. Very strange.

Hey, need help!!!! Both of my headlights have sudenly stopped working, Full beams, fogs, and sides still working, No warning lights. Ive checked the fuses and bulbs to no avail. Anyone got any ideas?:idea:

Hi, My car seems to be vibrating heavily when turning at low revs. Recently had the auxillery belt and tensioner replaced under warranty, but this hasnt cured the problem. Any help with this would be appreciated. Car is 2004 1.9 tdi Quattro

Its called RFI or radio frequency interference. Earthing will definately help. As will sheilding the connections with any insulator.
