Yes. Think I got them from Matt Lewis Racing (MLR) about two years ago. Same issue as you had with the unions being too big for the guide holes so I drilled them out and fed through, grommet just about slid over the caliper connection. Also had to modify the union bracket on the beam...

Feel your pain with the rear braided hoses. Forgot to document what I did but it was very similar apart from using rubber grommets to route the pipework cleanly through the beam. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Slightly stiffer than what shipped as standard from bilstein on their B16's. The kit was also from a Leon Cupra R which I'd imagine is a tad lighter to lean a Bora, specially at the back end. It's one those things on the to do list. Certainly going to need looking at once we get out on...

Aye can confirm its a decent kit. I had a forge coolant kit before the fire and these are just as good if a little more forgiving with custom pipework runs [emoji106] I'm also running their generic hoses for boost and intake. They've got loads of funky sizes. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

It's the angle those threads are cut at that worries me. You'll need a proper rig to get it right. I'd drop Clive a line and see what their take is on it, maybe they a get their fabricator to have a nose. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

I wouldn't helicoil it. Get a new adapter, things like that expand at very different rates due to the mammoth heat involved. Edit to add - biggest thing I've learned recently is don't **** about with important bits. If it's got any signs of being a weak point replace it. Whilst the engine is...

Nick, if you speak very nicely to Chris Carse he has some interesting Nissan studs we use on ours. I wizzed ours out recently, and whilst a lot less mileage than yours they all came out cleanly and quickly.

A6 Allroad - Anything to watch out for?

Hi All, I'm looking at getting a 2012/2013 Allroad. I'm primarily going for the Allroad as I need a Tow Car that comfortably Tow more than 2000kg (2012 Allroad is rated at 2500kg and 100kg hitch) so I can two my track car and trailer. But I also need extra interior room, as my current B7 A4 is...

    A4 B7 suspension improvements

Oh and I hear adding an uprated rear ARB does wonders but I'm yet to experiment with that yet. Saying that my 3.0 Auto S Line felt fine around the 'ring last Saturday :salute:

    A4 B7 suspension improvements

Try picking up an S Line suspension setup, though you will have to match to your model and spec list to ensure you're getting the correct options supported for. Aftermarket kits like Eibach and KW are good options also. Handling wise, 034 Motorsprot offer a complete uprated front control link...

    Brake fade

Your issue is heat, not pads, fluid or discs (though collectively the latter can have an impact). Deal with the heat and you won't get issue - try removing your dust guards and running ducting to the centre of the disc. Your discs are heat sinks, designed to abosrb the energy from fricton...
