Wanting to get a new car with a bigger engine but unsure which yet, concentrating on the price of mine..
It's a 1.6 special edition on a 54 plate
- single grille
- Genuine S3 wheels
- 74,000 miles
- silver metallic paint
Also have a Glossy frame RNS-e fitted with facelift buttons but planning...
You're paying alot of money for a new car so why not go all out? Isit really worth spending all that and not being completely happy when you can pay a little extra which will return alot more in pleasure!
I have a few bits to sell after my double din conversion, but unsure how much to list them at..
- single climate, slight glue damage on lower right, hardly noticable
- Single radio with chrome adapters on buttons for chrome button effect
- single cage
After a quickish sale really, any help...
Offset 42 should be orite, but no less, i think it's between 45-52 the ideal offset, you should be safe. As for the two alloys, yours are OEM's and hers are reps, you can tell by the detailing around the wheel nuts.
The design is slightly different with the modern chrome buttons, MK1 are usually around 250-300, and mk2 are anywhere between 350-450 for either mk2 or mk2 G with the gloss black frame, this is mine ..
I'd recommend going for the MK2 RNSE, Better features and higher screen resolution, also if the moneys available, maybe the Gloss frame version for slightly more.. I just put one in mine and i'm pleased with it
It is alot, you're right! The factor that made me go for it was that if you sell up in a years time or so for example, the unit will still be able to sell for around the price you paid for it, eithin reason obviously.
Really is the best mod for the interior mate
It was 400 for the satnav inc delivery
60 for the buttons, cage and climate (very cheap)
And i got it fitted by JMB retrofits and he does a very reasonable price
How can i find out if it's faulty just by testing it? I don't mind switching if it's the wrong one as it's worth more than the one i'm sellin so it's a win win!
I've tested it fully out like and no issues! Hopefully it with holds! Cheerse for the concern though.. You'l know if i have a climate with heated seats for sale haha!
