The drivers door is intermittent now so I presume this is the microswith as when I bang near the latch it recognises it's open but the driver rear is still not recognised, will have a play at the weekend! Thanks for all your comments, really big help Cheers:thumbsup:

Yeah doors all lock fine with no issues just no interior light or door open warning on the DIS!! Cheers

Just wondered if anyone has had this problem before and how do you solve it, when i open the doors on the drivers side my car doesnt recognise that they are open so if ive just unlocked the car and left the door open for a period of time without putting the ignition on it will lock itself also...

Ok thanks for that Mark will get it checked out, yeah battery had some dud cells so have replaced, ive now unplugged the hazard switch so will get a replacement and try it Cheers

Where's the best place to find the switched live wire? is there even one? i've been trying to fit a nokia ck7-w handsfree kit and can't find a switched live anywhere, it's a 51 plate saloon! Thanks in advance

Thanks for the link James i took the negative connection off earlier and left it for half hour then put it back on, if this fails i'll try another switch and if that fails are the ccu's expensive?? Cheers

also my vent dials aren't lit up anymore since i changed the battery and im sure they used to glow red at night!

it's practically on all the time bez on for 5 seconds, off for 2, on for 5 and so on....
