Hi Stalwart
If it is a Multitronic CVT box, then I understand it's 6 litres as Warren said.
My guess is that it is a multitronic as I understand they have the in-line filter, which ISN'T usually replaced on a oil change and is about £200 if memory serves me correctly!
Hope you get back ok!
Hi Tim
I'm no expert, but a few quick questions that might help you get a reply from someone who is!
1) I'm guessing its a manual?
2) when was the oil changed before? (if ever!)
3) what sort of mileage is the car?
4) Are the gears grinding, when you change?
5) I'm guessing the clutch is fine if...
+1^
I also have an S-line Multitronic Avant with Cruise. I know the previous owner retro-fitted the Nav though, as this is an expensive option from Audi. But as Stepho said, if you find a nice one that has leather, but no nav or cruise, just get them added. It depends what area you are in, but...
Hi there Irish,
Sorry to hear you've had so many issues with your car. On the subject of the Insignia, I've not had one myself so my only advice would be to do your research!
I'm a big believer in renting the type of car you want to buy for a week, before you spend your hard earned cash! It...
Thanks Monster_munch
I was thinking it would be back to the dealer, but I was going to pay someone with VCSD a visit and wondered if it was possible to read the code with that software? I know who ever fitted it had the code as it is currently paired up to my car and I read somewhere that the...
Hi All
Looking to find out if I can get the radio code for my RNS-E from vag-com (VCDS). It's currently installed and working just don't have the code?
After reading about the spate of RNS-E's that have gone missing in the Leeds and bradford Area, I would like to point out that my one has been...
Hi John
I'm no expert, but I understand that you wouldn't beable to fit a genuine audi S-line grill to your SE bumper.
The S-line bumber is lower in the centre section (below the number plate) so the S-line grill is slightly deeper to fill this gap.
Also I know the S-line Fog-light grills are...
hey psycho
I'm not sure that its the after market HID's that will cause you to fail you MOT. It the lack of a Headlight washing system! So before you run off and spend bundles on Bi-xenons you might what to price up a new front bumper!
I'm currently working on pricing this myself, but I have a...
Hi All
I'm sure that some of you will already know this, but for others like me, I thought I should share
MOT changes from 2012 | AA
For those that can't be bothered to click the link :)
In Brief:
If you have after-market HID's, you'll need to retro fit headlight washers too!! or swap the...
Not 100% sure about this but...
Headlight washers are only a requirement in some european countries (don't think they are required for a UK Mot) but I do think you need self levellers.
But as I said I'm not 100% sure on that
Hi All
Was hoping someone could help with PN for the headlight washer jets for a B7 S-Line?
To give you a little back ground (and show I have been looking!!) I may have narrowed it down to a few possibilities.
They all start with 8E0 955 101 or 102
but the tricky bit is the letters at the end...
Thanks for the replies guys!
Any idea on the part numbers then Nige?? Warren gave the impression that your the 'go to guy' on these matters :)
Can't get them installed until I have them :)
So far I've come across variations on a theme of:
4B0 919 275
4B0 919 275A
4H0 919 275
4H0 919 275A
I'm...
