Hi, posting on behalf of a friend who has an a4 with a seized engine Hes looking for a replacement and has come across a reasonably priced golf engine Engine is currently a CDN but replacement would be AXX, are these interchangeable? Any advice would be appreciated Cheers

Plenty of K04 exhaust mani's about now, so many cars have been broken you should be able to get an uncracked 2nd hand one for sub £50, even i have a spare i need to get rid of However if you are planning on really pushing the K04 to its limits then a high flow one would be advised

They do, but its very close with 330's I ran the S3 wheels while i had my LCR ones powdercoated

Interestingly my leon wouldnt clear limp mode on ignition cycle, it had to be done via vagcom
