    Answering my own questions today. I suspect I need to replace the row of switches (Airbag off, traction control and passenger airbag off) with the below switch and the other two blank? Does anyone else concur?

    MFSW issue fixed itself overnight? Bit random. Must have just needed to reset itself somehow (although battery remained connected).

    Stage 2+ is HPFP, Downpipe, Intake and appropriate tune generally. Doesnt require a K04. I would recommend just getting the HPFP and downpipe with the reflash. The plastic covering the circuitry had partially popped off in transit, which meant it wasn't connecting properly and continually blowing fuses.     From what I understand it will fit if you have a double din cage but the cage will need a little trimming as its a pre-facelift cage. I am also about to do this change including 2011 switches. I would like to know if the plug is the same as the pre facelift 8P1?

    Yes it needs to be an approved oil specifically for DCT/DSG transmissions. Google/youtube this transmission to see how complex it is.

    Yes have swapped out bulbs, no change. I might have to take apart the unit and see if there is any visual signs of damage to any components.
