I have that on my S3 and asked my dealer to have a look into it 2 weeks ago while they serviced my car.
Was told it was the wheel bearings needs greasing.. Cost of doing that was around $900 New Zealand dolloars or roughly 450GPB :(
I personally like the 3dr but my wife thinks they looks **** and prefers our 5dr S3.
We have a child so the 5dr is a bit more practical and easier when clipping this child into his car seat.
5 door S3 looks much more sleeper-like than the 3dr variant.. Get the odd look when they see a 5 door...
I'm on the same boat as NKenny.. I've had stage 1 on my car for two or so months.
Didn't really note my MPG before the remap but as of now:
Combined: 20MPG
Motorway: 30MPG
Haven't had any improvements as I find I'm driving with a lot more 'enthusiasm' lol
ASC, I know that feeling of jumping from a Civic back into an Audi.. We have a current generation Honda Jazz and the difference is huge!
One thing the Jazz trumps the Audi is the practicality of it though.. Huge boot size and seven cup holders. Can't stress how much I love the multiple cup...
