It's like anything. You do get what you pay for so obviously if you pay 1200 for a set you would expect them to be excellent. In my opinion and experience I've never had any problems with FK'S.
Trust me mate. I have adjusters in still on the rear but the helpers are out and it's all the way down at the front but it still rides well. I have a mate with them on a mk6 golf gti too but he has helpers in. He does a lot of driving round European going to shows like rollhard and worthersee...
All this about don't buy cheap coilovers is rubbish. I've run FK'S on a variety of things and the ride is excellent. End of the day if you get any coilovers and go as low as they will then ride is going to be compromised. You can't expect to be an inch of the floor and have a ride like a...
Sorted this mystery. Spoke to a lad called SI from stillstatic who said with it been dsg then I might have to shorten the shaft. He also said I could try shifting the engine over on the mounts which is what I did and presto. No more noise. Must have been pressure on the shaft slighty when...
I've checked that mate and it's not rubbing anywhere. Arb clears the shaft. We think it could be the shaft because of the angle it's running at but loads of people are running this low if not lower and not having this problem. Strange
has anyone had any problems with there drive shafts running really low other than chassis notch. i getting a loud knocking noise when turning left but its not rubbing anywhere. any ideas??
speedlines will look good when they're on mate. i had eibach springs on before these 50/40 and they were very good for just springs. noticeably lower than standard height and still gave a good ride. if id have know i would have held onto them for you but sold them last week
