It was in the lighting section of the App. just activate and save. and yeah I can believe that the bulbs may suffer but I can't help myself...:)

Activated the cornering lights using the app, spent the last few days waggling the steering wheel while in queues for lights and trying to see them turn on in the reflection of the car in front... Love it.

I did get a couple, CAN network gateway: 03041 - Energy Management Active Body/convenience system: 02615 - Locking fuel tank cap 02616 - Unlocking fuel tank cap Not cleared them yet as the car is under warranty and I've emailed the place where I bought he car from to arrange to get them...

Pretty much did exactly the same as you, great minds and all that. :) I did ry on my mates MK4 Golf yesterday but it was a year too early so it didn't allow any customisations by it did collect fault codes. Still a very useful app hopefully they will extend the customise options at some point.

I didn't see the dvd lock but as I don't have it I don't know if the scan would pick it up etc. MODS: If the like breaks rules etc please remove. I just searched and read the reviews, not selling them myself honest. :)

Yep nearly gave myself a hernia upside down but plugged it in, paired it to the phone using the pulldown menu on a Samsung S5 then once it had paired it req a passcode tapped it in and then rant he app and it just connected.

Damn that sucks, I did look around to see if any other apps had the same functionality but haven't found anything yet. One thing I did see is that if you have Torque running in the background it might interfere with another app trying to connect, might be worth killing all the apps on your...

Just downloaded it and had a play. Seems pretty good I enabled the Needle sweep and the chirp on locking the car. for £15 for the dongle and the same for the software I'd say it's pretty good value.

Fitted mine and yep they do have that blueish tint to them, No fires yet (touch wood :D)

Had the same problem on the passenger front door, luckilly my car is still under warrantly but I did the same thing on a MK4 Golf, a complete pain in the backside and after I'd finished it I swore I'd never do it again. Does seem like its a weakness with VAG group cars.
