It seems like Haynes manuals have dissapeared for neww cars. I need one for and 8P 3 door but cant seem to find anything similar. Any suggestions? thx

Basically, they are giving me the car back. And are giving me the money to repair it myslef. Most of the damage is cosmetic, except for the key. So ideally i could do with a new lock set (new or used) to repair the car.

Also, does anybody know where i can get a 'haynes' manual or equivelant for an 07 A3? thx

Thanks for your help. I have already tried rejecting it but they are not having any of it. I know i can get my car looking pristine insude and out. But im more concerned about the stuff you cant see. Like clutch/ gearbox/ brakes etc etc.

Thanks for your responses. The insurers have confirmed it WILL be classed as a stolen/recovered car on HPI. As its a legal requirement for them to register as it was reported to the police. there will obviously be mechanical damage that they cant see or assess which im sure i will end up...

Guys, picked up my car today and it seems sorted. Although i think they have got rid of the active steering as it feels heavy when steering at idle low speeds. Although i cant prove this. The noise has deffo gone though. They did it in a day?

cheers mate. I think white is also the best. But id say blue is second. Yeh, its at the service depo by the blues ground. They took it in straight away, and replaced it the following day. not had a chance to pick it up yet though. Did they clean it? lol

I gave mine in today as didnt need the car for a couple of weeks. Workshop controller sat in my car, watched me turn my steering wheel once and said 'i know what it is'. It was the steering rack. They sorting it out. Will see if its any better when i get it back and will update the thread!
