Totally agree and not acceptable however my GLC rattled and creaked badly from the instrument binnacle, dash top, centre console, all four doors, the tail gate and roof liner. Check out YouTube for C class trim rattles.
Just saying that generally Audi’s are among the best screwed together...
I think it’s a modern car thing. Since moving on from my Audi A6 18 months ago I’ve had 2 merc’s ( CLA 45 and GLC 43) and now a BMW and they all had/have interior rattles. The Merc GLC was by far the worst and the Audi was the best. I think the use of recyclable plastics and cost cutting all...
I’ve just done this with my CLA selling it back to the dealer at two months old. It has a list of £48k and I got back 10/12th of £450.

April 17 onwards costs £140 a year plus £310 luxury car tax for the first 5 years starting from when it’s one year old. Your pre April car will be £230 a year less so £1150 less over 5 years.

I’d try a different dealer or manufacturer. I cancelled my Audi as the customer service from the dealer I elected to use was dreadful. I’ve not had much luck with Audi dealers but I’m sure some good ones exist. When I cancelled my order, before my car was built I lost half of my deposit and that...
The point I'm making is exactly the response you have given reference the hand brake. My car was faulting from the day I drove it out of the showroom. It was the lack of skill? commitment? caring? not sure what that resulted in a drawn out battle. I insisted a field engineer visit the car and...
Not all service advisors are equal though and some IMO don’t deserve to be paid at all. I’ve been in a position where a new car had a faulty gearbox and another an engine issue where it would make changing gear smoothly very difficult. The service advisor tried to blame my driving style and high...
Friend of mine had both Audi's parked on the drive the other night and woke to find one (Q5) with the boot open and the other (A4) with the drivers window smashed.
It seems some sort of software was used on the cars to try and start them as the keys no longer work although the electrics seem to...
Not as cheap as an S4 or TFSI 2.0 but not bad. May be better on a PCP.

My BMW was rejected for a steering rack failure. It's classed as a major component failure and so rejection should not be a problem. It's much easier in the first 30 days of ownership however they have failed to rectify the fault and the fact it's on finance really helps.

M*35i don't have fun flats either as standard only as an option. M235i's on passive dampers are pretty hard but ok on adaptive. The S4 on passive will be similar to the M235i on adaptive but it's how it feels to you so a test drive is a must.

Agree with keeping the OEM. Diesels have an abundance of air anyway and as a standard paper filter does a better job of filtering the air than a performance filter i'd stick with the OEM filter but change it regularly.
