I did take off the rubberised coating on the door switch surrounds on my b6, it did take a while but it comes of with nail varnish remover, I haven’t tried anything stronger than that, it could make it quicker but also could ruin the plastics.

So can I ask where you guys got yours from, I’d like to buy from a reliable source that actually fit the A4 8.5 well?
