right, just checked the code on the sticker, i have DAK DQT I assume the gearbox code is DQT can i use any 6 speed box from a 2.5tdi quattro? theres one for sale on ebay from a 2003 AKE codes are GBB ETS

very noisy, so thought we should drop the oil and replace it... about an egg cups worth of oil was left in it replaced the oil anyway, took 2-3 litres from memory (this was some months ago) and it was a little quieter it shifts perfectly, its noisiest on the over run

why cant i just replace the front diff, drive flanges out, unbolt the diff housing cover, pull the diff and replace it?
