a bit hard to explain as im not that mechanically minded but ill try,it was just in front of the transmission, behind and above black connector, i came at it from the side sort of through the suspension to get to the 10mm bolt, it came out fine, i nearly forgot to take off the metal spacer from...

all done, swapped this out last night.30 mins in total, just a bit awkward !

Morning,does anyone know the exact location of the above on an a4 3.0 V6 Petrol I've looked down near the oil filter and cannot see it I know it's the grey plug on the firewall Just can't see sensor location Cheers

3.0 v6 has them as standard Maybe the 2.5 aswell

Car is as stated a4 3.0 quattro, I had fault code 01542 faulty yaw sensor, I have replaced this but still having the same problem, brakes locking and esp light coming on Ive been told the replacement sensor needs coding ie basic brake setup Thanks

Hi all,ive just replaced my yaw sensor on my a4 3.0 I'm still getting the esp light coming on after a grind on the brakes Does the replaced sensor need coding with vcds If so can anyone do this in the Wiltshire area Cheers

i think there audi dealer only mate, only cost £0.80p each though

No probs with transmission according to my cheapy plug in fault reader!!
