    thanks for the concerns, yeah luckily only me in the car and not the misses and are 9 month old son :/ spot on, she didn't even look in the direction I was comin from! She just pulled out :(

    Defo aftermarket, but like you said it does look like an iPhone/iPod dock.. Have you followed the cable back to see if its plumbed in?
