Won't the alarm be triggered when jacking the car too?

best thing to do would be to get it on a diagnostic to see what codes it is throwing when the light is on (or retrospectively held in the memory after the light is out). Obdeleven or VCDS are your best bet. Could be your cam follower in the fuel pump needs replacing (happens to be my next job).

Always preferred gunmetal over black because the black doesn't look right unless you keep the tyres black (quick Google search to show). Some people don't mind, personally I would. Entirely depends what you want though. I want something abit more out there personally for mine when I do them.

Used a 4mm drill bit, biggest j could get to fit. Must have been poor quality lol. Found an Allen key that fit snuggly and that's done the job. Had me abit nervous getting my hands in to remove the screws after seeing it obliterate the drill bit though! Lol. Thanks for the help!

Well that was easy! Do you have to lock it in place? I tried a drill bit and it just snapped in two!

Am I being thick here...I don't see the bolt to turn to move the belt tensioner so I can lock it?

Could be many things tbh. Is it only when driving over bumps that it's an issue? Were the springs done before the noise started or after?
