Hey,
Congrats on the delivery! I've also ceramic coated mine but tried it out as a DIY Job. (never again) Would love to see some pics of yours once the dechrome is done as I'm keen to get that done too.
In regards to the console I didn't find one, I can still only see wraps for the old shape.
I've not long taken delivery of a 2021 SQ5, can confirm it's the same as previous model. Advanced key with electric tailgate, B&O Sound System, 360 Camera and extended LED interior lighting pack.
Uhhhh, I’m at 1,050 miles now I reset the long term memory after I drove the car back from the dealer in Brighton. I’ve averaged just under 29mpg I was expecting similar/better economy to the S3 but I’ve only been on short journeys so far minus the trip back from Brighton. I did do 40mpg last...
I had a quick search could only find guides on the older trims. I’m sure someone will do it soon though! (I hope) could always try and wrap it in place but it won’t be as nice I guess.
Interesting on the A6 front, I’d not heard that.
trim wise with it being the SQ5 there’s only that and then vorsprung. So I’d just added the comfort and sound pack. They’re pretty much kitted out anyway after that, minus the assist packages which I prefer not to have anyway and the pan roof etc.
It’s not perfect but it came up better than it was! Just a little bit of meguiars scratch x and a buff removed most of the light stuff.
I’d like to cover it with something though really.
Honestly no idea, I barely touch it, cleaned it a couple of times but only with a brand new microfibre cloth. Awful material lol. I think I'll just get some carbon wrap and cover it up.
Anyone else with a newer Q5/SQ5 wrapped the gloss black bit in the centre console?
My cars just over a couple of weeks old and you can see it's already getting scratched up. Also, anyone know if it's relatively easy to take apart?
Weird question, can anyone recommend a drivers seat cover that fits over the big bulky SQ5 seats? I had one off amazon for my S3 I had to rip it to fit it over. Needs something to cover the seat after a muddy bike ride!
