    Is My Shaft Normal?!?!

Not sure if there is a way to tell, wouldnt imagine someone at Audi would swap boxes, hardly worth risking your job over a gearbox. I would personally check the gearbox oil myself. Wont be the first time i have heard horror stories of going to change your gearbox oil to find its empty. A gearbox...

    Is My Shaft Normal?!?!

Things can look identical on the bench but really different when compared dimensionally...a few mm can make the difference between working and not working....Whoever fitted the clutch etc should be looking into the problem as it wasnt faulty prior to he/she working on it..Some recordings of the...

    Is My Shaft Normal?!?!

Sorry it was a bad joke but on a more serious note....try draining your gearbox oil and checking for metal shavings, swarf etc, the issues you list above sound like a box issue or DMF, not a clutch issue. I have added possible faults but this is just possible issues it could be something else...

    Going Stage 2+

You can get away with the OEM clutch, my friend ran his like this and it lasted till he sold the car which was over a year but he never really drove the cad hard. As RS3-KEL said its a huge difference with a performance clutch, if I done it again I would run the OEM setup till it gave up then I...

    Suzuka Grey Search

I think the 5dr's are pretty cool so I'm easy with regards to the number of doors. The only thing that puts me off this car is it doesn't have the buckets. My last S3 never had them and I always said if I had another one it would have to have them.

    Fitted my Autotech internals!

I can recall thinking mine was louder when I fitted the uprated pump. The uprated pumps require more force to operate so it would make sense for the operating noise to increase from OEM. Nothing to worry about...Enjoy S2+, I certainly did :)

    Going Stage 2+

I ran the Sachs clutch with the OEM LUK DMF and it was great, although mine did start slipping after just over a year of hard driving and a few 1/4 mile launches but that is to be expected. With the Sachs kit fitted and DMF you will notice a slightly heavier clutch pedal but it's well worth it...
