I see, I retro fitted mine and the loom I used spliced power and earthed through the module as far as I can remember, pop your door card off and have a look, take some photos when it’s off for reference and the forum can give further advice/assistance. You may just need to make your own short...
Hey @milkyjoe01 , I’m going to guess you’ll need a new loom for both doors as I doubt someone would install only the puddle light if the wiring was there. Cheapest way would be for you to extend the wires yourself from the puddle lights.
Try putting a touch of heat on it mate, then pull it out, not too much with a heat gun that you warp the plastic, maybe a hair dryer, then let it cool down in correct shape.
I use this, they supplied a number of manufacturers a few years back, I’m not sure if they still do but I’ve found this to be effective.

I am trying to identify the bung I require and how to fit and remove them, I’ve read a lot of posts relating to jacking the car up however I can’t find...
Hi Manvir,
I’m sorry I just caught your message, yip I managed to get the mmi updated via VCDS, this enabled me to adjust the brightness of the footwell lights as well as them being on when you drive.
