Having spent many years on bikes and roller skates I never bothered getting into cars. I'm now in my mid thirties and stumbled my way into liking cars after needing one, so I passed my test (eventually!) then got a 1.1 Polo and really enjoyed the car, then started looking into the next step up and decided on the A3 8L as I love the shape, at first I had no idea about engine types so did some digging and decided on a 1.8T. I then spent 6 months convincing my other half that I needed a car (she had one we both drove, boring Astra 1.4!). I didn't convince her, so I bought it anyway, sometimes its better to ask for forgiveness than permission! I got a bargain Cat C A3 1.8T in silver that became my pride and joy. I've now moved on and sold her for a blue 1.8T Q that needs a lot of attention to bring back to former glory.
