    New Audi time

My 8.5 decided to have ABS issues that just wouldn’t clear no matter what, so sold it on and bought this lovely thing. Auto box instead of manual and petrol instead of diesel(and then diesel plummets in price) but it’s a glorious driving machine and I love it

    1.4 engine - any good?

Hi garage where I bought my current 8.5 from have said they can do a deal against a 2016 1.4 petrol A4, however I thought it sounded a bit underpowered for a big car but they assure me it’s just as punchy as my 2.0 diesel. I’m still not convinced, can any current owners help out here please?

Help Please Headlight washer jets stuck - flaps open

Obviously not a huge concern in the grand scheme of things but obviously not wanting them left open to encourage some wee Ned to help open them on a permanent basis. How do I get them back in? Tried hot water, no joy.

Tv packed in - is it worth getting it repaired?

New tv bought today, accidentally cracked the screen whilst mounting it on the wall. £500 quite literally down the drain. Ears getting bashed from the mrs. Was securing the rear brackets for the wall mount, misjudged the size of it and as I turned round the bottom corner of the screen hit the...

It’s obsolete now, can’t see it on sale anywhere. But I wouldn’t have done that anyway you can tell it’s not new.

Tv packed in - is it worth getting it repaired?

Hi thanks for the reply Samsung not interested, so I’ll have a bash at opening it up, nothing to lose now. If it’s the power board That’s fine I can get one on the bay of e for £6. Main board is more expensive and a heap of work that may be beyond my capabilities anyway. So just have to see what...

Tv packed in - is it worth getting it repaired?

No power to tv, socket is ok, tried another known working power lead, tv not even going to standby it’s totally dead. Now it was working fine last night, so I’m thinking it can’t be anything major, possibly an internal fuse or something? However I also know modern electronics, possibly could be...

I see your point and agree with you, however a friend of my Mrs is a charity shop manager on a very modest wage but drives a 2 year old X5. Her husband is well paid however and he drives a jag. Point I’m making is it isn’t always what it appears to be at times
