I have the 2010 A5 with the 2.0 So far 155,000 kms and a stage one tune . Don't know if the rings have been sorted prior , but with 270hp and spirited driving , it uses 1 L every 5000 kms .. So I guess it"s pot luck with these engines . I get 7/8 L consumption per 100 Kms .

I have 265-35-19 on my rotors and i put 39 F -36 R in mine . Apparently this is the best pressure for the 19"s . Wear is even after a year and a half on new tires . Hope this helps .

Hi there , from my own experience , a 2.0 TFSI is the best engine to go for. No need for the V8 engines , as a remapped 2.0 has as much torque , great acceleration and with an S Line , all what you need . Not forgetting the great fuel economy . But then again , it's my opinion . I'm sure you'll...

From personal experience , if fuel filter is clogged , you'll have hesitation around top speed/RPM . Of course your garage can diagnose with the proper scanner , tools . Goes without saying .

Guys , I have the base chorus radio in my A5 2.0 TFSI 2010 . I guess there is no MMI connection in the glovebox , right ? What are you guys doing with this radio to get AUX , USB , etc .... Thanks for the info .

ask your garage . It's probably in the fuel pump . If fuel filter is clogged , you might get hesitation at the top end .

If you're low on top speed , check your fuel filter .

If it's a reputable remap , definitely . I got 270hp and 440 NM with a stage one . You can feel the difference . I would say a 0-60 in the upper 5's Fuel consumption still excellent at 9L/100 kms

with 260hp + you should hit 150 no problem . I think standard cars can reach 150 .

the standard coupe can manage 245 Kph if it's healthy . Mine has a stage 1 tune , 270 hp , can easily reach 240 Kph with more to spare . maybe 260 Kph on a long run .

@FurtiveSway Mine has done 130,000 Kms , no problem . If the initial dyno run shows figures near to manufactures ones , then engine is OK to remap . If power is way down from new , then probably it's not recommended

Agree with warranty and insurance costs , specially in the UK . Here in Lebanon , no such problem with remaps . They never check :)

An S5 with a remap and a bit of tuning can easily go over 400hp , but keeping the running costs much lower than an RS5 . Mind you , nothing beats the sound of a V8 . Decisions , decisions

@John_A5 the pipe that goes from the turbo down to the exhaust . It's a sport pipe without the catalyser . It gives you a better exhaust sound , more power , less restriction . Down pipes work better with a remap and sport filter .
