Update following the A3 visiting the Audi garage on 10/1, apparently an "Audi Master Technician" was involved, wasn't sure what that meant. I had asked them to look into 3 issues; juddering under acceleration from standstill, significant condensation build-up inside, finally passenger door and...

Off topic a bit but interested in what you mention @KXL. Since taking delivery of my A3, I have only ever put in Texaco E10. We have a local Tesco and I could switch to E5 99RON for around 12p a litre more. With E10 coming in and the difference between standard and premium fuel being wider, you...

It's also poses the question of whether the BAS system could be the source of the juddering in my A3. I'm unsure whether it assists every time the car starts pulling away, or only when you boot it. Even if I pull out of a junction, onto a roundabout etc reasonably steady, I still get a light...

I think you're both right in a way from watching Audi's official video, here It is only a belt alternator starter (no motor) but does have the ability to assist with 9kW of power (50Nm torque). I'm not sure if these numbers are already baked into the official stats.

Hi @Bunks21, your issue sounds very similar to my own. One "solution" you may get from Audi is to switch to E5 fuel, I got this response on the phone but told them abruptly that they advise E10 has no adverse effect to their vehicles. I'll see what comes from the garage visit in Jan. It's...

I believe it's from Superchips. I am in no way recommending it because I don't know enough about remaps and know there are divided opinions on them. It has made a noticeable difference to the way the car drives though. I'm thinking the doors will "bed in" too. At least I hope so!

Updates on the issues from my original post Audi Pre-Sense fault no longer showing when I first start driving. Thanks to @AdamInKent for the tip to park away from a wall (front of car). MMI logging out was definitely a server issue. Audi Digital Services confirmed the times of server downtime...

@AdamInKent, tried it yesterday evening, maybe it was coincidence but after keeping the front of the car away from the wall, I didn't get any pre-sense warning... will have to keep parking that way and see if it continues. The judder continues though. It will be going to Audi early in the new...

A/C Temperatures, Bang & Olufsen Rattle

I've found that if the fan setting is set to the windscreen only, the cabin gets really hot even at 19.5 (my default). A couple of mins after having the setting on head/foot level fans, the temp cools down to around what I'd expect. The Auto setting sometimes prioritises the windscreen fans...

Any one keep getting flashed by oncoming traffic?

I get flashed by oncoming cars all the time. I mainly drive on tight rural roads and have noticed when approaching, most people will flash me and come to a complete stop - the lights are obviously a bit too blinding for oncoming drivers. I do usually give people a flash back so they know I'm not...

Thanks all for the advice on some of the issues. @AdamInKent, I do park close to a wall actually, I'll park the other way round and see if that changes things. Most are irritating quirks but the fact @KXL and @Sal Jam you both have said you don't get any judder under acceleration does concern...

Sorry @MF DOOMER, my post does come across negative and the issues are irritating. The car has many redeeming features and other than the juddering, it's a great drive. @Fuelnut, I thought about holding high gears as a possible cause but hadn't checked it. I will do some semi-auto driving and...

Audi Pre-Sense fault showing most of the time when first start driving the car. Sometimes goes off about 5-10mins into drive, other times remains until restart. Heard a lot about this issue on here. MMI keeps logging me out of "myAudi" account saying "It's been a while since this user has used...

On your first point, I heard that only works if you use the built-in nav. As I always use wireless Android Auto w/ Google Maps, I’m not sure I’ll get that benefit. I’ve noticed the idle coasting too on a cold engine. I’m now purposely not putting the consumption display on so I can forget about...
