How did you go with this ?, mine has been in and out of the dealers with a sunroof rattle, they are going to replace the frame and sliding mechanism.

i had this in my S3 took it back to the dealer they found 2 missing trim clips in the door which they replaced. rattling gone now when playing bassy music.

Hi has anyone added the sapce saver wheel to the 8Y S3 Saloon/Sedan, yet ? i have the wheel, jack and centre screw/nut tie down, but not sure how to deal with the now raised carpeted board that now doesnt sit flat.

sorry no. i simply ordered the 475mm and 650mm SI-Tech Blades universal fittings. and none of them fitted. so i tossed them 3 days ago. wasted $90.

it is true the universal adapter fitting sits higher and a bit uglier then the sleek oe/ bosch fitting but they are concealed wipers when not being used and as long as they don’t skip and judder when they are being used i will be happy.

about to try the PIAA Si-TEch, in the hope they dont judder and skip like the AUDI OE, the Bosch aerotwins and the Uniwiper ones, which all look identical by the way.

tried obd11 pro as well as VCDS, the option appears for tone on lock/unlock on the car settings menu but it does nothing.

After checking the online manual for my VIN via the myaudi app link, for the acoustic lock/unlock, there is a footnote in the alarm system description bottom of page 42 that states Acoustic notification - not available on all export models.

did you find one in RHD ?

sorry no videos, the stock 8V is still at least 20-30% louder than the 8Y with the res delete and open valves. I still cannot believe there is no dsg upshift farts on the 8Y S3.
